Margaret Williamson Bechtold is a brand director and stylist working between Austin and NYC.

She believes that great modern brands are not defined by what they make, but how they make people feel.

Margaret has spent the last decade building her expertise through consulting, fashion editing, trend forecasting, writing and styling positions at outlets including Conde Nast’s Lucky Magazine and TOBE, a leading aesthetics and engagement think tank.

Her freelance consulting work spans industries and objectives, taking a blank-page approach to deliver clear-eyed, multi-format outputs tailor-made for each account.

Her styling has been published internationally in print and online. Her commercial clients include Mercedes-Benz, Sony and Girlfriend Collective.

Margaret has been quoted by Elle and covered by The Strategy, Bikini, Local HoneyLocal CreativeYou Do You and Trash Talk. Oh yeah, and she runs a little annual zine called Girls Our Age and a reading gallery called Dontworrybaby.

She likes talking new projects and making new friends. You should totally get in touch.
